About this role
Storekeeper role at Entergy Texas nuclear facility in Conroe, TX. Manage storeroom operations including inventory control, material receipt/issue, record-keeping, and supervision of storeroom staff. This safety-sensitive position supports nuclear plant operations with potential for emergency response during storms and outages.
Responsibilities
- —Efficiently operate storeroom and manage issue and receipt of supplies and merchandise
- —Maintain records necessary to properly document all items passing through storeroom
- —Take and manage inventories
- —Direct work of other storeroom employees
- —Operate equipment used in handling material
- —Identify materials by type, size, serial number, and other specifications
- —Know location of firefighting equipment and be familiar with operation and use
- —Attend and participate in safety meetings
- —Work additional hours and alternate locations as needed in connection with storms, outages, or emergencies
Qualifications
- —Minimum three (3) years experience as a Storekeeper or equivalent related work
- —Qualified as Storeroom Assistant or equivalent experience
- —Knowledge of storekeeping procedures and records maintained in storeroom
- —Ability to qualify for automobile and truck operator's license
- —Knowledge and practice of company safety rules
- —Ability to perform essential functions of position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- —Pass mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing (Safety Sensitive position)

Location
Onsite in Conroe, TX; up to 25% travel; nonexempt position subject to extended hours for storms, outages, or emergencies
