About this role
Supervise all plant maintenance operations at an Entergy nuclear/power facility, including startup/shutdown activities, equipment repairs, and outage management. Lead a multi-skilled team of mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical technicians in maintaining turbine-generator, boiler, and auxiliary systems while ensuring compliance with OSHA, NERC, EPA, and NRC regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, develop, and manage workload for skilled craft employees (Mechanical Techs, ICE Techs, Maintenance Operators) across all plant maintenance activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and timeliness
- Recruit, evaluate, and train maintenance personnel; develop multi-skilled work groups
- Maintain compliance with company, state, and federal requirements (OSHA, NERC, EPA, State DEQ, SOX, NRC)
- Collaborate with Planning and Operations to assign resources and address maintenance issues
- Manage contracts, purchasing, and scheduling for assigned projects and routine/planned/emergency outages
- Develop schedules and budgets for routine maintenance and planned outages; perform weekly/monthly cost tracking and financial reporting
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders including managers, contractors, and other organizations
Preferred qualifications
- 8–10 years of Instrumentation/Electrical or Mechanical experience
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in maintenance operations
