MT&E Issue Specialist
About this role
Short-term contract role (early September to mid-October) issuing and managing calibrated instrumentation (M&TE) for Westinghouse's metrology area in Bridgman, MI. Support nuclear operations by maintaining and distributing calibrated tools and instruments to authorized users, and providing technical guidance on proper use and specifications.
Responsibilities
- —Issue calibrated instrumentation in the M&TE issue area
- —Answer technical questions regarding calibrated tools and instruments such as multimeters, torque wrenches, transmitters, and gas monitors
- —Maintain records and inventory of issued instrumentation
- —Verify calibration status and compliance with nuclear standards
Qualifications
- —Experience with calibrated instrumentation: pressure, temperature, dimensional, force, and torque measurement
- —Previous nuclear power plant experience
- —Ability to pass criminal background check, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing
Location
Onsite in Bridgman, MI; short-term contract from early September to mid-October
