Corrective Action Specialist
About this role
Full-time, long-term contract role supporting Westinghouse's corrective action program at a nuclear facility. You will manage corrective action activities, coordinate cross-functional meetings, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while reporting directly to site management. This role is critical to maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence through systematic problem identification and resolution.
Responsibilities
- —Support department activities using Continuous Improvement programs and Corrective Action Program software
- —Coordinate meetings, monitor programs, review and revise procedures, and manage corrective action documentation
- —Complete Condition Evaluations and manage lower-level corrective action program assignments
- —Participate in Causal Evaluations and support higher-level corrective action program investigations
- —Participate in self-assessments, benchmarking activities, and development of training as assigned
- —Communicate with industry contacts through conference calls, industry meetings, and networking at other nuclear stations
- —Support updates to performance indicators and station-level information reports
- —Represent the department at Initial Screening Committee and Operating Experience Screening Committee meetings
- —Process screened items in software subsequent to committee meetings
Qualifications
- —Associate or bachelor's degree or technical training certificate
- —One (1) year of relevant nuclear plant experience
- —Experience with Corrective Action Program software or equivalent program
- —Ability to pass criminal background check, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing
Location
Onsite in Bridgman, MI; 4/10s schedule (four 10-hour days per week)
