Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural Engineering. Minimum 5 years' experience with Trimble/TEKLA and Autodesk suite (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Vault administration). Experience with AVEVA and Hexagon-based CAD products. Ability to troubleshoot software issues and understand software development techniques. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong planning and organizational abilities.
About this role
Support selection, development, and maintenance of CAD engineering and design tools for Westinghouse's GOS (Global Operations Support) organization. Manage plant data across engineering applications, oversee 3D model creation and revision control, and administer CAD software licenses and vendor relationships for nuclear energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Support CAD Administration Lead in day-to-day tasks
- Administer Trimble/TEKLA and Autodesk suite (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Vault)
- Plan, schedule, and execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements
- Oversee creation and development of 3D models and related engineering data capturing design information for CSA, Electrical, Piping, and other engineering disciplines
- Oversee creation and revision control of drawings derived from 3D models
- Manage data management tools used to store and maintain CAD data
- Perform software administration tasks, communicate with software vendors, and approve/review license usage
- Develop and maintain interface connections between CAD management tools and enterprise software solutions
