About this role
Administrative Specialist supporting Xcel Energy's Monticello Nuclear Station operations. You'll manage confidential records, coordinate high-priority projects for nuclear compliance activities, and provide administrative support to site leadership while adhering to NRC regulatory requirements and nuclear records retention schedules.
Responsibilities
- Interface with corporate departments on confidential, high-priority requests supporting compliance activities, inspections, and evaluations
- Coordinate presentations, create correspondence, and develop special project reports; communicate results across organizational levels
- Perform quality assurance and control of documents and records per nuclear records retention schedule; manage controlled documents, copyholder lists, and critical/transitional drawings
- Monitor and audit document repositories, satellite file locations, nuclear records repository, and QA records vaults to maintain integrity
- Develop and deliver training on office procedures; revise materials to improve efficiency
- Manage daily office operations: mail coordination, call screening/delegation, and meeting logistics
- Coordinate calendars and schedules for site leaders; proactively resolve scheduling conflicts
- Prepare itineraries, agendas, and supporting documentation for travel and meetings; reconcile travel expenses
- Support daily and Outage/Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duties as needed
Preferred qualifications
