Required qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree required. Five years of related nuclear training experience. Knowledge of systematic approach to training (SAT) and regulatory and industry guidelines as applicable.
About this role
Oversee fleet training operations for a nuclear energy company across multiple sites. Supervise instructors, establish training standards, and ensure compliance with NRC regulatory guidelines for general access, safety, and leadership development training programs.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise fleet instructors: establish performance goals, monitor performance, provide feedback, and support professional development
- Assist in budgeting, staffing, strategic planning, and reporting to meet station and fleet training needs
- Set standards and monitor implementation of systematic approach to training (SAT) to ensure consistent performance and regulatory compliance
- Supervise conduct of training including monitoring instructor performance, enforcing fleet training processes, and addressing performance issues
- Participate in fleet, site, industry, and regulator training initiatives such as workshops, benchmarking, assessments, and accreditation team visits
- Support ongoing operations of fleet training and work jointly with fleet management to meet excellence plan goals
Preferred qualifications
Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school.
