Tool Room Attendant
About this role
Full-time short-term contract (August through mid-October) Tool Room Attendant supporting Westinghouse nuclear plant operations. Reports to client supervisor; non-traditional schedule including day/night shifts and overtime during outages.
Responsibilities
- —Maintain tool crib inventory, label new tools, and enter tools into tracking program
- —Issue tools in non-radiological and radiological controlled areas
- —Stock and maintain weld rod ovens; empty weld rod trash bins
- —Transport tools between plant and material center; coordinate broken tool warehouse returns
- —Coordinate annual fall protection and rigging inspections
- —Perform general housekeeping and material handling
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum 18 years of age; valid driver's license; knowledge of industrial tools (hand tools, power tools, lifting & rigging, fall protection); ability to pass criminal background check, drug/alcohol screen, and employment testing; local to site; flexibility for day/night shift work exceeding 40 hours during outages.
Desired
Mechanical background; navigation skills.
Location
On-site at nuclear plant and material center with travel between locations; day or night shift flexibility; non-traditional schedule with overtime.
