Electrical Supervisor
About this role
Lead electrical operations and supervise maintenance and installation crews at the Palisades nuclear facility in Michigan. Ensure compliance with NRC regulations, 10 CFR 50, and nuclear safety standards while managing crew safety, quality control, and regulatory adherence.
Responsibilities
- —Oversee electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting within nuclear facility systems
- —Supervise electrical crews, ensuring safe work practices, adherence to nuclear safety protocols, and high-quality performance
- —Conduct inspections to verify all work meets NRC requirements, industry codes, and nuclear safety standards
- —Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines while maintaining regulatory compliance
- —Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, safety checks, and crew performance
- —Manage crew logistics, scheduling, and issue resolution on-site
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with electrical systems in regulated environments; prior nuclear facility or regulated site experience required; ability to manage crews and troubleshoot on-site; proficiency reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents; High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired
Journeyman electrician certification; OSHA safety training; DOE Q Clearance or nuclear site clearance; knowledge of 10 CFR 50 and NRC compliance requirements
Location
On-site, Palisades nuclear facility, Covert, Michigan. Full-time contract position.
