About this role

Advanced Analysis & Integration Engineer supporting Westinghouse's advanced reactor designs. You'll perform thermal hydraulic modeling, safety analysis, and CFD work on next-generation nuclear systems, reporting to the Safety Analysis Manager at Cranberry Township headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for safety analysis of advanced reactor designs in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform modeling and analysis of thermal hydraulic systems using CFD and standard/non-standard thermal hydraulic codes
  • Develop technical documentation and presentations for calculations and analyses
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with system design, component design, testing, manufacturing, and materials teams to solve technical challenges
  • Coordinate with technical leads and project managers on assigned work scope and project activities

Preferred qualifications

Experience with heat and mass transfer and numerical thermal analysis; Modeling or simulation experience with thermal hydraulic codes, particularly ANSYS CFD (FLUENT)

Location, schedule, and travel

Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania; Hybrid (2 days onsite per week); no relocation assistance
