Required qualifications
- Technical University degree in related field
- Programming experience (C/C++ or equivalent)
- Electrical qualification to work under 1000 VDC per applicable regulations (NV 194/2022 Sb.)
- Fluent English
About this role
Design, test, and commission instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for nuclear power plants at Westinghouse, including the EAGLE I&C Platform and DPS systems. Work cross-functionally with project teams, subcontractors, and global customers to deliver engineering products from design through commissioning and aftermarket support.
Responsibilities
- Develop project-specific software modifications for I&C systems
- Create technical documentation including requirement specifications, functional specifications, design specifications, system descriptions, and operational & maintenance documentation
- Perform test and commissioning activities at factory and on-site, including test plan and procedure development
- Conduct warranty, post-warranty, and aftermarket support including I&C system hardware and software troubleshooting
- Perform diagnostic analysis of I&C systems and support Obsolescence Management Database (OMD) maintenance
- Participate in technical meetings with project teams and customers; communicate with global Westinghouse offices
- Acquire and verify customer design inputs to support design and installation activities
