Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a skilled worker in a trained technical profession
- German language: native speaker or C1/C2 level (spoken and written)

- Technical aptitude and solution-oriented mindset
About this role
Temporary technician role at Westinghouse's Mannheim facility supporting nuclear power plant operations globally. You will repair and maintain specialized machinery used in nuclear facilities, commission new equipment, and collaborate with engineers on equipment development and testing.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain specialized machinery (remote-controlled milling, drilling, EDM, bolting systems)
- Commission and test newly developed machines; support engineers during parameter development and testing phases
- Install and configure software on computers and control systems, including network setup
- Operate specialized equipment on-site at nuclear power plants worldwide
- Manufacture and modify machine components (electrical and mechanical)
- Perform machine assembly and integration
- Work across departments and international teams
Preferred qualifications
- NDT certifications (VT, UT, PT, ET, or equivalent)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location, schedule, and travel
Primary: Westinghouse Mannheim facility (Germany). Travel: On-site work at nuclear power plants worldwide.
