About this role
Project Manager for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) at Westinghouse's Mannheim facility. Lead development and deployment of advanced inspection techniques for nuclear applications, from concept through field implementation. Manage cross-functional technical teams, oversee project scope/budget/schedule, and drive continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- —Plan, manage, and execute NDT projects including advanced and mechanized inspection techniques
- —Collaborate with technical leadership on development, qualification, and deployment of new inspection solutions
- —Coordinate and guide interdisciplinary project teams through project lifecycle
- —Ensure project targets for quality, cost, and schedule are met
- —Identify and manage project risks; define and implement mitigation measures
- —Support technical and commercial proposal preparation for client inspections
- —Drive continuous improvement of inspection processes and project execution methodologies
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering
- —4+ years of experience in a technical environment, preferably in NDT/inspection
- —Proven project management experience with cross-functional teams
- —Strong technical understanding with ability to communicate complex inspection topics clearly
- —Initial leadership or supervisory experience
- —Fluent in German; proficient in English
