Technician
About this role
Lead eddy current analyst for Westinghouse nuclear steam generator inspection services. Manage inspection data analysis at nuclear power plants globally, lead technical discussions with customers and NRC/international safety authorities, and drive continuous improvement in non-destructive testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- —Lead and manage execution of eddy current analysis activities at Westinghouse facilities and customer nuclear power plants worldwide
- —Manage daily project execution including outage preparation, process activities, and project closing while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule adherence
- —Support technical discussions with customers and nuclear safety authorities on site
- —Interface with data collection teams to manage progress, priorities, schedule, and resources
- —Lead engineering and qualification activities to support business growth
- —Develop lessons learned activities to drive continuous improvement between outages
Qualifications
- —Engineering degree (preferably mechanical, materials, or nuclear engineering)
- —Eddy current background, education, or formal qualification
- —Strong communication and teamwork skills
- —English language fluency (written and spoken)
- —Willingness to work in international, multi-cultural environment with frequent international travel
Desired
- —German and/or French language skills
- —Knowledge and/or field experience in steam generator maintenance services and non-destructive testing (NDT)
Location
International role with extensive travel required; work at Westinghouse facilities and customer nuclear power plants worldwide.
