Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus or minor in Computer Science or similar field; knowledge of LabView, C++, Java, Python, and embedded software; 1+ years of experience with Digital Circuit Design
About this role
Support Westinghouse's commercial nuclear plant equipment by performing integrated testing on Safety Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Systems. Develop test procedures, execute testing, and validate I&C systems alongside a team of engineers to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support development of safety test documentation based on functional, design, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure I&C system integration
- Identify hardware, design, and software issues and complete troubleshooting on integrated I&C systems
- Develop test plans, procedures, and data sheet documentation
- Execute testing to meet project schedules and requirement fulfillment
- Work towards obtaining QA 2.9 certification to support I&C projects
- Assist in board-level design, functional testing, and integration testing
- Assist in developing requirements traceability matrices to confirm all requirements have been tested
- Perform testing based on system functional and design requirement specifications
