About this role

Supervise nuclear project management and construction engineering at a major US nuclear power station. Lead a team of Project Managers and Engineers delivering 20+ concurrent projects annually with budgets exceeding $25 million, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of Project Managers and Engineers to successfully deliver projects meeting safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of 20+ concurrent renovation, upgrade, and capital improvement projects with annual construction budgets exceeding $25 million
  • Coordinate across engineering, construction vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal departments including Operations, Maintenance, Outage Planning, and Security
  • Drive execution and resolve field challenges while maintaining compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
  • Oversee design change processes and work management systems
  • Ensure adherence to construction codes, standards, and nuclear plant operational requirements

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in nuclear power plant engineering, operations, or construction
  • Reactor Operator certification
  • Shift Technical Advisor certification
  • Senior Reactor Operator certification (Naval Nuclear equivalent acceptable)
  • PMP certification

Location, schedule, and travel

On-site at nuclear power station; 76–100% office work; up to 25% exposure to heat, operating machinery, radiation, and travel.
