Supervisor Maintenance
About this role
Supervisor for Maintenance Division at a Constellation nuclear facility responsible for supervising craft personnel and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, effective operations in compliance with NRC regulations and company policies. This role manages training, qualifications, emergency preparedness, and departmental processes including the Corrective Action Program.
Responsibilities
- —Supervise craft personnel to ensure maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively in accordance with procedures, NRC regulations, and schedules
- —Ensure department personnel are properly trained, qualified, and supervised for all assigned duties including emergency plan qualifications
- —Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management including disciplinary action for assigned employees
- —Communicate significant facility and personnel issues to Maintenance Manager and applicable management levels
- —Foster open communication and collaboration between internal and external organizations including INPO and regulatory agencies
- —Participate in work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online and refuel outage activities
- —Administer and support Maintenance processes including training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program
- —Supervise vendor inspections and equipment repairs
- —Manage procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, equipment, and M&TE
- —Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support activities as directed
Qualifications
- —High school diploma or GED with 6 years of related experience, OR Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of related experience
- —Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
- —Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Desired
- —Fluent use of electronic work management system, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- —Minimum 3 years of experience in nuclear power plant operations
Location
On-site at nuclear facility; on-call participation in emergency response activities
