Supervisor Maintenance Planner at Constellation's Clean Energy Center, responsible for supervising and developing maintenance planners while overseeing the planning and execution of work packages for nuclear and other energy generation facilities. This role requires balancing supervisory duties with hands-on planning work and ensuring compliance with QA procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Maintenance Planners for scheduled and emergent work during both online and outage conditions
  • Assign, coordinate, and execute daily work activities to support Maintenance Planning goals in accordance with QA Manual, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide supervisory oversight for planning of work packages to be performed by Maintenance departments
  • Review work packages for quality and readiness; verify work instructions comply with CEC procedures, Nuclear Safeguard Protocols, ASME Code, and other applicable standards
  • Review and approve all required work packages, including 10 CFR 50.59 screening or evaluation
  • Prepare and revise work instructions providing direction for maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, surveillances, and modifications
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide development opportunities and coaching to assigned planners
  • Interface with Work Management, Supply, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues
  • Perform internal trending of planner performance, develop improvement recommendations to the Maintenance Planning Manager, and provide corrective action and counseling as needed
  • Function as backup to the Manager Maintenance Planning in their absence
  • Perform maintenance planning work packages as applicable based on facility assignments
  • Respond to emergency situations and support outage activities as directed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 4 years of related experience OR Associate's degree with 6 years of related experience OR High school diploma/GED with 8 years of related experience. Must maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable. Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

Desired

Previous Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis training. Experience with Work Management Software such as AS9 or Passport.

Location

Onsite at Clean Energy Center facility; includes call-out duties and emergency response requirements.
