About this role

Supervisor for Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Maintenance at a nuclear power plant. Oversee safe and compliant execution of maintenance work, lead craft personnel, coordinate with schedulers and planners, and ensure NRC regulatory compliance and emergency readiness.

Responsibilities

—Supervise craft personnel performing maintenance activities per CEC procedures, NRC regulations, and schedules • Ensure personnel are trained, qualified, and maintain emergency plan qualifications • Administer coaching, mentoring, performance management, and disciplinary action • Communicate significant issues to Maintenance Manager and CEC management • Foster collaboration with internal/external organizations including INPO and regulatory agencies • Participate in work control, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online operations, load reductions, forced outages, and refuel outages • Understand and administer Maintenance processes including training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program • Supervise vendor inspections and equipment repairs • Ensure effective procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, equipment, and M&TE • Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 6 years related experience, OR Associate's degree in technical discipline with 4 years related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 2 years related experience. Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access. Favorable medical examination/testing per position duties.

Desired

Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. Fluency with electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel. 3+ years nuclear power plant operations experience.
