Supervisor Maintenance Electrical
About this role
Supervise maintenance division activities at a Constellation nuclear facility, ensuring safe and effective execution of work by qualified personnel in compliance with NRC regulations and company policies. Direct oversight of craft staff, coordination with schedulers and planners, and interface with multiple organizational levels.
Responsibilities
- —Supervise craft personnel to ensure all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively in accordance with facility procedures, NRC regulations, and schedules
- —Ensure department personnel are properly supervised, trained, and qualified to perform assignments, including emergency plan qualifications
- —Administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management for assigned employees, including disciplinary action when necessary
- —Communicate significant facility and personnel issues to Maintenance Manager and applicable management levels
- —Participate in work control coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online and refuel outage activities
- —Administer all Maintenance processes including training programs, surveillance, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program
- —Supervise vendor inspections and repair of facility equipment
- —Ensure effective procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, equipment, and M&TE
- —Respond to emergency calls, provide departmental coverage, and support outage activities as directed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with 6 years of related maintenance experience, OR Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 2 years of related experience. Maintain minimum or unescorted access requirements as applicable. Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.
Desired
Minimum 3 years experience in nuclear power plant operations. Fluent use of electronic work management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Location
On-site at Constellation nuclear facility; includes on-call emergency response and outage support activities.
