About this role
Supervise 10+ configuration and requirements management engineers supporting AP1000, AP300, eVinci, and legacy nuclear control systems at Westinghouse. Direct integrated systems engineering processes including configuration management, requirements management, and verification/validation across multiple reactor control subsystems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 10+ exempt-level engineers; manage performance, hiring, firing, and promotion decisions
- Direct the Integrated Systems Engineering process including configuration management, requirements management, and verification/validation across multiple subsystems
- Manage requirements development environment in IBM DOORS
- Oversee technical design creation and coordinate changes across multi-discipline groups
- Develop complex project definitions, select sources, and monitor results
- Identify resource needs, develop justifications, and manage department budgets and business plans
- Provide cross-functional technical support for product development, project implementation, marketing, and sales
- Establish and maintain positive internal and external customer relationships
- Develop and guide technical processes to ensure standard methodologies for complex control design
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop complex specifications reflecting user and business requirements
- Assess workflows and reporting relationships to improve team efficiency
- Ensure work activities comply with Westinghouse procedures and communicate with all management levels
