About this role

Supervise licensed and non-licensed operators in shift operations at Constellation's Quad Cities nuclear facility. Lead operational teams, enforce NRC-aligned safety and performance standards, manage operator development and discipline, and ensure ALARA and radiation protection compliance.

Responsibilities

—Directly supervise licensed and non-licensed operators during shift operations
—Assign work, provide leadership, and enforce operational and safety expectations
—Direct operators in shift routines; monitor performance and provide coaching
—Review non-licensed operator rounds each shift
—Conduct plant walk-downs to identify and correct deficiencies in ALARA, radiation protection, safety, material condition, and procedural adherence
—Manage direct reports' development, performance, discipline, training, and radiation dose
—Assign and oversee extra operator workforce activities during shifts
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree + 4 years related experience, OR Associate's degree + 6 years related experience, OR High school diploma/GED + 8 years related experience
—6 years of training and experience in power generation operations (Nuclear Navy program preferred)
—Maintain required NRC access clearance or unescorted access; pass medical examination per position duties
