About this role

At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered. Direct the activities of Senior and Test Engineers in the Power Systems Reliability Group, providing technical solutions to client needs. Develop and deliver technical services at all Electrical T&D locations and Nuclear, consistent with client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • include work planning, on-the-job training, testing, inspection, and initiating requisitions for procurement of tools, materials, equipment, etc.
  • Responsible for the calibration and storage of instrument test and measuring equipment and ensuring personnel are knowledgeable of and in compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
  • Participate in department planning activities.
  • Support client-specific programs, such as maintenance programs, PM/Pd M programs, etc.
  • Develop and deliver technical services consistent with client expectations.
  • Provide direction and technical expertise to achieve organizational, financial, and operational objectives.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of self and group personnel.
  • Including work planning/coordination, on-the-job training, testing, inspection, and initiating requisitions for procurement of tools, materials, equipment, and etc. from vendors and services from contractors.
  • Responsible for calibration & storage of instrument test/measuring equipment and ensuring personnel are knowledgeable of and in compliance with applicable Standards and Procedures.
  • Participate in Station and Department planning activities.
