About this role

Supervise and direct Senior and Test Engineers in PSEG's Power Systems Reliability Group, delivering technical solutions across electrical transmission & distribution and nuclear facilities. This role combines technical expertise with people leadership to ensure safe, reliable service delivery, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across PSEG's nuclear and T&D operations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct activities of Senior and Test Engineers, providing technical solutions aligned with client needs and organizational objectives
  • Develop and deliver technical services across all Electrical T&D and Nuclear locations, including preventative/predictive maintenance and root cause analysis
  • Supervise daily activities and ensure safe work environment, compliance with company policies, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements
  • Plan and coordinate work including on-the-job training, testing, inspection, and procurement of tools and materials
  • Manage calibration and storage of instrument test and measuring equipment; ensure testing activities comply with established procedures, QA standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Train, coach, and counsel employees to strengthen technical skills and teamwork
  • Participate in station and department planning activities and communicate routinely with management to meet high standards and client expectations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related science/engineering field (related work experience may substitute); two years of supervisory experience; ability to read technical charts, verify calculations, and review reports; demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills; proficiency in MS Office Suite; valid Real ID by May 7, 2027; compliance with Department of Energy regulation 10 CFR 810; U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or citizenship/permanent residency of designated DOE-approved destination country.

Desired

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering; technical knowledge in electrical testing; knowledge of SAP.
