About this role
As a Project Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry and contribute to the development of the latest technology. You will report to the Digital & AI Product Strategy Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for the AP 300 and AP 1000 projects
- Support digitization projects for AP 300 and AP 1000 projects, including AI enablement
- Support the project engineering team in compiling technical design information and preparing reports Work with multiple engineering groups to ensure delivery of engineering commitments Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on technical challenges and solutions Help prepare engineering deliverables across several technical disciplines Help prepare presentations and documentation for construction partners and customers Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, nuclear, chemical, industrial, electrical, or civil engineering Completed Sophomore year of college Interest in project engineering across broad technical disciplines Construction experience/interest We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
