Senior technical specialist providing advanced engineering problem-solving for turbine-generator operations at nuclear facilities. Leads technical decision-making, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance for turbine equipment systems.

Responsibilities

—Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis and technical programs for turbine-generator systems
—Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical involvement and consultation
—Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design criteria, procedures, codes, and configuration management standards
—Perform independent research, technical reviews, and analyses supporting engineering projects and regulatory requirements
—Recommend equipment upgrades, design improvements, and techniques to enhance performance, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance
—Enforce procedure adherence, Human Performance fundamentals, and Technical Human Performance techniques
—Provide coaching and mentoring to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years related experience, OR current/previous SRO license with 5+ years experience, OR Associate's degree with 7+ years experience, OR high school diploma/GED with 9+ years experience. Must maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements. Favorable medical examination per position duties.
