Sr Simulator Test Engineer
About this role
Validate accuracy, performance, and operability of nuclear plant simulators through rigorous testing and operational execution. This hands-on role ensures high-fidelity plant behavior and regulatory compliance across the simulator lifecycle, working with Westinghouse's reactor simulator platforms.
Responsibilities
- —Participate in all facets of system/model requirements and design specifications (understand, author, revise, review)
- —Participate in all facets of testing including authoring and reviewing test procedures, test data records, and test reports
- —Conduct normal reactor plant operations on the simulator using plant operating procedures to validate simulator performance
- —Participate in all facets of system/model requirements traceability (understand, author, revise, review)
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- —2+ years of experience with simulator operations
- —Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Desired
- —SRO certification
- —US Navy Nuclear experience
- —Proficiency with IBM Rational DOORS
Location
Hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA facility
