Sr Operations Specialist

Senior Operations Specialist at Constellation Energy, the nation's largest producer of clean and reliable nuclear energy. Manage nuclear plant operating procedures, emergency response protocols, and departmental initiatives while maintaining regulatory qualifications under 10 CFR 50. Support continuous improvement of operations through procedure development, Plant Operations Review Committee coordination, and interface with reactor operating crews.

Manage technical projects and department initiatives in coordination with Senior Manager of Operations Support and Services

Monitor and resolve backlogs of procedure revisions according to deficiency severity

Maintain Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP) and B.5.b requirements; support EOP owner's group oversight

Support operations procedure-driven Plant Operations Review Committee (PORC) presentations and regulatory documentation

Maintain 10 CFR 50.59 qualifications to evaluate and support procedure changes and technical evaluations

Interface with operating crews and site counterparts to drive continuous improvement of operating procedures

Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and support of outage activities as assigned

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of nuclear operations experience; OR Current/previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 5 years of related experience; OR Associate's degree with 7 years of related experience; OR High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience

Maintain minimum unescorted access or equivalent security clearance as applicable

Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Maintain 10 CFR 50.59 qualifications and required ANSI qualifications

Current or previous SRO license

Established 10 CFR 50.59 qualifications and technical evaluation experience
