Sr Operations Specialist
About this role
Senior Operations Specialist at a Constellation nuclear power plant responsible for managing operating procedures, emergency protocols, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role interfaces directly with reactor operating crews and site leadership to drive continuous improvement in plant operations and maintain NRC compliance.
Responsibilities
- —Manage technical projects and department initiatives in operations support, including procedure revision backlogs prioritized by regulatory deficiency
- —Maintain Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) and B.5.b security requirements; support PORC procedure review presentations
- —Sustain 10 CFR 50.59 qualifications to evaluate and approve procedure changes for regulatory compliance
- —Monitor EOP owner's group and coordinate procedure improvements with operating crews
- —Provide emergency response coverage, on-call support, and outage activity assistance as directed
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree + 5 years related experience, OR Associate's degree + 7 years, OR High school diploma + 9 years; OR current/previous SRO license + 5 years experience
- —Maintain unescorted/escorted access requirements per position
- —Pass medical examination per position duties
Desired
- —Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license

Onsite at Constellation nuclear power plant facility; subject to on-call emergency response and outage support activities
