About this role

Project Controls Specialist role (I-IV levels based on experience) for Entergy's nuclear operations. Responsible for cost control, budget management, change management, and project financial oversight. Manage project finances, create and maintain budgets, track actual vs. forecasted costs, deliver accurate status reports to leadership, and support nuclear facility maintenance and operational projects.

Responsibilities

  • Promote safe behavior and adherence to safety rules; lead project team on leading indicators and safety integration
  • Set up and maintain control systems to track original/current budgets, change orders, actual spend, estimate-to-complete, and variances
  • Gather, consolidate, and produce cost, change management, progress, and performance reports; ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide clear, timely, and accurate project status reports and presentations to management
  • Identify project issues impacting performance; make decisions and escalate to leadership as needed
  • Coordinate with functional departments to meet corporate standards, project budgets, and timelines
  • Interact with Supply Chain to ensure timely project and contract information flow
  • Monitor contractor performance on safety, cost, quality, and contractual compliance
  • Manage and control project costs; identify and mitigate project risks
  • Participate in site emergency response organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business discipline; or equivalent work experience at Finance Specialist level
  • For Specialist I: 0+ years in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, operations, production, or finance
  • For Specialist II: 2+ years in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, operations, production, or finance
  • For Specialist III: 4+ years in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, operations, production, or finance
  • For Senior Specialist: 6+ years in nuclear power design, construction, maintenance, operations, production, or finance
  • Technical proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to apply computer attributes using spreadsheets, databases, and other software

Location

Onsite in Russellville, Arkansas (Entergy's Arkansas Nuclear One facility); up to 25% travel; non-bargaining unit position
