About this role
Westinghouse Field Services seeks a Special Tests Engineer to lead HVAC system testing, control room habitability assessments, and containment leak rate tests (ILRT) at nuclear plants in Spain and international sites. You'll execute complex testing under strict nuclear safety and quality standards, qualifying as a Test Supervisor for test execution and oversight.
Responsibilities
Execute and supervise HVAC system testing activities including control room habitability tests, component leak tests, functional tests, and containment integrity tests (ILRT). Prepare, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and instrumentation. Develop test procedures, technical reports, and quality documentation. Monitor technical and financial performance of assigned contracts. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in nuclear and international environments. Qualify as Test Supervisor for test execution and oversight.
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems. Instrumentation expertise. Experience in equipment design, manufacturing, or maintenance. Prior experience at nuclear power plants. Ability to work with technical procedures and quality documentation.
Location, schedule, and travel
National and international travel required; primary assignments at nuclear plants in Spain and other international nuclear facilities.
