Responsibilities
- Develop Windows applications using approved technologies and coding standards to satisfy engineering, scientific, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements
- Perform senior-level design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new and legacy nuclear software systems
- Apply secure coding practices and object-oriented principles to prevent security vulnerabilities
- Maintain code quality through unit testing and comprehensive technical documentation
- Communicate with internal partners and customers to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications
- Stay current with application security best practices and modern vulnerability mitigation
Preferred qualifications
- Fortran experience
- Cisco switch configuration familiarity
