- Experience leading multiple projects
- Experience with nuclear products and ASME standards
- Knowledge of NDE/NDT processes
- Experience performing process capability analysis and qualification
About this role
Senior Supplier Performance Engineer for Westinghouse's AP1000 nuclear reactor program in Poland. Manage supplier relationships and quality compliance for high-reliability metal work components serving commercial nuclear power plants. Oversee supplier qualification, performance monitoring, corrective actions, and manufacturing oversight to ensure compliance with NQA-1, ASME, and Westinghouse technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive supplier assessments evaluating manufacturing capabilities, resources, and compliance with Westinghouse quality and technical standards
- Lead supplier development and qualification for new products and cost reduction initiatives; identify and mitigate risks
- Manage manufacturing oversight plans, define witness and hold points, and document supplier operations
- Flow down Quality and Technical requirements (NQA-1, ISO, Design Specifications, Approved Processes Guide) to suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance using scorecards and dashboards; develop Performance Improvement Plans for negative trends
- Oversee Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) process including root cause analyses and corrective action verification
- Lead and escalate quality events, coordinating cross-functional communications for prompt identification and disposition
- Perform process capability analyses, measurement system analyses, and design-for-manufacturability reviews
- Coordinate supplier documentation reviews and Non-Conformance Reports with appropriate Westinghouse functions
- Provide manufacturing technical expertise to suppliers and regular progress reports to Project Managers and Program Directors
- Support Commercial Operations and Legal with quality and technical bases for supplier claims
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with US standards and norms (ASME, AWS)
- Familiarity with Design-To-Manufacturing and Manufacturing Readiness Level processes
- Background in large projects execution
- Experience with commercial nuclear supply chain
Location, schedule, and travel
Workshop-based in Poland (Europe). Travel to supplier facilities required.
