Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical/Automation Engineering or similar discipline; 4+ years progressive experience in Engineering/Manufacturing; knowledge of manufacturing processes (electromechanical assembly, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, electrical cabinets, sensors, molding, testing, inspection); experience performing Supplier Evaluation/Qualification; working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, PFMEAs; Project Management experience leading multiple concurrent projects; familiarity with IPC/IEEE/ASME standards

About this role

Oversee supplier compliance and performance for electro-mechanical components used in nuclear applications at Westinghouse. Manage on-site and remote supplier oversight, develop Supplier Oversight Plans, monitor performance metrics (On-Time Delivery, Quality, Deviation Notices), and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing partners through RCA, CAPA, and Supplier Development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site and remote supplier oversight to ensure Westinghouse technical and quality requirements are achieved
  • Develop and implement Supplier Oversight Plans to guide on-time completion of critical document submittals and manufacturing activities
  • Identify and escalate supplier risks; drive prompt resolution through coordination with all partners
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics (On-Time Delivery, Quality issues, Deviation Notices) and identify negative trends
  • Implement Causal Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Actions, and Supplier Improvement Plans to reduce issues
  • Evaluate procurement risk and develop Security of Supply Risk Mitigation Plans
  • Provide regular progress reports to Project Managers, Program Directors, and SPE Leadership
  • Perform Technical Evaluations of suppliers to assess manufacturing capability, process controls, and compliance with regulations, codes, and standards
  • Identify capability gaps and establish Development Plans
  • Lead Supplier Development, Qualification activities, and Cost Reduction efforts

Preferred qualifications

IPC or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Certifications; experience with nuclear products and standards

Location, schedule, and travel

100% remote; 30% domestic and international travel expected
