About this role
Senior Quality Oversight Engineer for Westinghouse nuclear energy solutions. Lead supplier quality oversight and compliance activities across complex nuclear and non-nuclear procurements. Develop surveillance plans, verify supplier QA program alignment with 10 CFR 50 and design/contract requirements, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure technical/quality standards compliance throughout the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans for routine procurements to ensure compliance with quality and technical standards
- Perform verification and acceptance activities to confirm items and services provided by suppliers conform to Westinghouse purchase order and design requirements
- Coordinate with external parties to verify Westinghouse suppliers have implemented Quality Assurance Programs aligned with items/services being provided
- Review procurement documents to verify technical and quality requirements have been correctly translated from Westinghouse design documents and Customer contracts
- Follow up on supplier corrective actions, evaluate responses, and ensure objective evidence substantiates closure
- Investigate and report on compliance with technical specifications and verify accuracy of procedures, tests, and records
- Review inspection and non-destructive test procedures to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Perform or observe precision measurements, physical or electrical tests on complex materials, components, and systems

Remote with 50–75% international travel; periods of up to three weeks away
