Senior Project Manager
About this role
Senior Project Manager at Westinghouse managing high-complexity, high-revenue projects for engineering and field services supporting operating nuclear plants. Oversee all project management processes including planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder communications. Report to Manager of Projects within America's Engineer Solutions team.
Responsibilities
- —Complete all aspects of planning including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- —Acquire and manage team members according to department protocols to complete project work
- —Manage all project dimensions including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners
- —Interpret and transmit project and contract requirements and changes to teams using integrated change management processes
- —Coordinate project communications to keep team, customer, and partners informed of status
- —Maintain project databases and procedures for efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation
- —Close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems
- —Perform final project quality assessment and report results
Qualifications
- —5+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably with nuclear industry base
- —Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
Desired
- —Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business
Location
Remote position with required presence in Pittsburgh, PA or Cranberry, PA area
