Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering. 5+ years of experience in contract management in project-based environments. Experience in Power Generation, Nuclear Industries, Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production, Ship Building, or Manufacturing. Fluent in English. Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues and supplier development.
About this role
Senior Project Engineer at Westinghouse supporting next-generation nuclear reactor development (AP1000, AP300, eVinci). Verify quality and technical requirements across the full project lifecycle—from bid phase through manufacturing and delivery. Manage supplier relationships, oversee quality assurance activities, and ensure compliance with nuclear safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Support supplier identification, down-selection, audits, and technical evaluations
- Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation with all technical and quality requirements
- Lead supplier design proposal and compliance matrix review meetings
- Create manufacturing and process plan estimates for design validation and cost/schedule optimization
- Conduct and manage supplier quality assurance witness points and hold points
- Manage execution of required supplier quality assurance activities and pre-job briefs
- Support purchase order change notices and maintain project schedule updates
- Ensure all supplier purchase order scope completion including fabrication, testing, and documentation
- Complete Westinghouse Quality Release documentation and archive quality assurance data packages
- Coordinate with logistics for equipment shipment and customer delivery
- Ensure personal, industrial, and nuclear safety as a fundamental part of all work

Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid (2 days in office per week); 20% travel, mostly within Europe; based in Poland.
