About this role
Senior Project Engineer at Westinghouse supporting nuclear power plant projects. Coordinate engineering tasks across multiple NPP projects, ensure commercial and contractual requirements are met, mentor junior engineers, and report to the Project Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects, contractual tasks, and associated deliverables
- Assist Project Manager with change control processes including scope requests and scheduling
- Work with internal and external teams to determine how to satisfy commercial and technical requirements
- Support execution of assigned tasks and mentor novice engineers
- Partner with PM and other project and technical functional disciplines
- Review and support delivery of engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions
Preferred qualifications
- Nuclear Power Plant experience
- AP1000 experience
- Familiarity with nuclear industry standards, rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid work arrangement based out of Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC offices with regular on-site collaboration required.
