About this role
Senior Procurement Project Engineer overseeing all procurement activities for AP1000 nuclear reactor projects at Westinghouse. Manage pre-PO and post-PO procurement tasks, supplier selection, quality assurance, and vendor oversight to ensure on-time delivery of safety-critical components within budget and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all procurement activities for AP1000 Projects including pre-PO and post-PO tasks
- Improve supplier identification and down selection through technical evaluations
- Guide completion of supplier audits and support NDA/PIA negotiations
- Lead Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation with technical and quality requirements
- Create manufacturing and process plan estimates for design option selection and cost/schedule validation
- Complete supplier oversight quality assurance technical witness and hold points
- Support project management team coordination with supplier quality organizations
- Report project implementation plans and program readiness status
Preferred qualifications
Experience in Power Generation, Nuclear Industries, Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain management.
