Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, and bills of materials for complex electro-mechanical first-of-a-kind tooling
- Assemble and test custom equipment through design evolution from prototype to finished product
- Develop and validate test procedures for systems to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Operate final tooling systems in customer nuclear facilities
- Provide technical oversight and mentoring to junior engineering team members
- Perform classical hand calculations and FEA analysis to qualify systems and components against applicable codes and standards
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite at Ontario offices (Kitchener, Burlington, or Peterborough); remote flexibility available across Canada
