Senior Instructor role at Dominion Energy nuclear power stations (Unit 2/3) developing and delivering performance-based technical training programs for licensed and non-licensed operators. Requires 5–15 years of experience depending on track (General, Nuclear, or Nuclear Operations), with in-depth instructional design expertise and operational/technical knowledge of nuclear plant systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, develop, implement, and evaluate performance-based technical training programs compliant with nuclear industry, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Develop instructional materials and conduct training for licensed and non-licensed operators in multiple settings: main control room simulator, classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job
  • Act as subject matter expert in specific technical or operational area; consult with business partners to clarify, define, and document work procedures and processes
  • Monitor current regulatory initiatives and assess impact on instructor training; interface with regulatory personnel and industry peers
  • Participate in rigorous technical and instructional continuing training

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Senior Instructor Training Certification (Dominion)
  • Certified Instructor (INPO)
  • Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License or Certification (NRC)
  • Familiarity with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 standards
  • Military service background (E5–E9, W1–CW5, or O3–O6 equivalent)
