About this role

Constellation seeks a Senior Financial Analyst or Financial Analyst to manage operations & maintenance (O&M) and capital cost reporting, forecasting, and analysis across nuclear, natural gas, and renewable energy generation assets. This role directly supports executive decision-making through accurate financial planning, month-end closes, budget variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and reporting on major capital and O&M cost drivers for management decisions
  • Lead monthly financial closing processes, ensuring proper accounting treatment and corporate policy compliance
  • Prepare and review month-end, quarterly, and full-year forecasts/reports for executive, internal, and board-level presentations
  • Forecast performance against goals, plans, and budgets; bring financial perspective to daily operations
  • Monitor and report on capital project spend and cost tracking
  • Prepare periodic reports on contracted services, overtime, and other operational costs
  • Develop long-range financial plans and review/process capital and project request proposals
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting, analyses, and data requests for internal and external stakeholders
  • (Senior level) Lead and mentor junior financial analysts, providing training and guidance
  • (Senior level) Execute complex special projects as requested by management

Location, schedule, and travel

Onsite; position may require extended hours as needed to meet business demands.
