Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical, or nuclear) or technical discipline (chemistry, construction, computer science, mathematics, or physics) with 2 years of related experience; OR
  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 2 years of related experience; OR
  • Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 4 years of related experience or 2 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience; OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 6 years of related experience or 4 years of Constellation Reactor Services experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements and pass favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties

About this role

Fleet-wide governance and oversight role for Constellation's dry cask storage (DCS) program. Manage spent fuel loading campaigns, ALARA compliance, Technical Specification adherence, and procedure development across nuclear facilities. Work cross-functionally with station departments and leadership on DCS program strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide governance and oversight of DCS program processes, including development of detailed plans and schedules for spent fuel loading campaigns
  • Support ALARA practices and ensure Technical Specification compliance
  • Develop and maintain DCS procedures
  • Support campaign planning, schedule preparation, and execution for spent fuel loading
  • Conduct assessments on DCS program implementation and document observations during campaign execution
  • Review vendor performance trends and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement
  • Identify and solicit best practices internally and externally to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Review Constellation fleet DCS lessons learned and industry operating experience (OPEX)
  • Attend industry meetings and working groups including Holtec Users Group (HUG), Technical Nuclear Users Group (TNUG), and Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Spent Fuel Working Group
  • Support Dry Cask Storage Program Managers with peer team and business plan initiatives
  • Travel to other Constellation Clean Energy Centers as needed (0–25% of time)
