About this role

Lead work week planning and execution at Braidwood Nuclear Station (Constellation Energy). Direct development and implementation of detailed maintenance schedules while ensuring Technical Specification compliance, online risk management, and safe, efficient operations across all departments. This role bridges operations, maintenance, and engineering to optimize reactor availability and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate detailed schedule development for assigned work weeks to ensure Technical Specification and Maintenance Rule compliance while minimizing online risk and safety challenges
  • Oversee work week schedule execution, ensuring adherence to Technical Specifications, Maintenance Rule requirements, and Clean Energy Center (CEC) Procedures
  • Provide direction to department planners, schedulers, Project Managers, and support personnel for effective and accurate schedule development
  • Manage priority emergent work for assigned work weeks
  • Cross organizational boundaries to collaborate with all departments and Project Managers to resolve scheduling conflicts and safety performance issues
  • Evaluate scheduling execution performance data and develop weekly performance analysis reports for the Performance Analysis Review (PAR) meeting
  • Assist in forced outage coordination as required
  • Coach, mentor, and develop members of the work management organization
  • Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and support outage activities as directed

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous Nuclear Power Plant experience
  • Strong personal computer (PC) scheduling knowledge
  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator License/Certification
  • Engineering or Technical Degree
  • Supervisory or managerial experience
