Senior Engineer APX Design Management
About this role
Lead fleet design decisions and standardization for AP1000 nuclear plants. Guide technical strategy, drive lessons-learned incorporation, and collaborate across design, analysis, projects, and supply chain teams to shape Westinghouse's nuclear fleet development.
Responsibilities
- —Lead collection and assessment of lessons learned for incorporation into fleet design
- —Define delivery strategies for AP1000 Nuclear Island and Turbine Island, including standardization approaches
- —Facilitate evaluation of strategic technical decisions and drive agreement across multiple partners
- —Work with design, analysis, projects, and supply chain teams to solve technical problems and implement nuclear plant design
- —Provide technical guidance and direction, collaborating with partners, suppliers, manufacturers, and customers
- —Identify and define technical challenges and direct efforts to successful resolution
Qualifications
Engineering Degree; 4+ years of relevant experience
Desired
Experience in nuclear plant design
Location
Hybrid, onsite 2 days per week at Cranberry Township, PA
