Senior Electrical Engineer
About this role
Senior Electrical Engineer at Westinghouse designing electrical systems, instrumentation & controls, and wiring for nuclear reactors and fuel products. Work with advanced CAD/analysis tools and cross-functional engineering teams in a hybrid role at Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC.
Responsibilities
- —Design electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, and system wiring for nuclear products and projects
- —Perform engineering analysis using Mathcad, Matlab, PSpice, and similar computational design tools
- —Develop engineering design documents including calculations, specifications, standards, and procedures
- —Collaborate with internal engineering teams and plan/schedule engineering work
- —Support nuclear safety and regulatory compliance in electrical system design
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- —4+ years of relevant engineering experience in power systems, controls, or nuclear applications
- —Demonstrated experience with engineering design and analysis
- —Proficiency with Mathcad, Matlab, PSpice, or equivalent analysis tools
