About this role
Supervise Reactor Services support personnel at a commercial nuclear power plant, providing technical oversight for refueling operations, dry cask storage, and steam generator work during outages. Lead contractor teams, manage safety programs, and coordinate outage planning and budget forecasting.
Responsibilities
- —Provide supervisory oversight for Reactor Services support personnel and manage performance
- —Coordinate Refuel Floor activities during outages and direct dry cask, steam generator, and new fuel receipt work
- —Prepare, perform, and revise maintenance and operating procedures; troubleshoot systems
- —Coordinate contractor activities and provide field technical direction
- —Prepare annual cost estimates, budgets, and personnel/equipment forecasts for outage work scope
- —Maintain effective safety program and direct supplemental personnel including employee relations and performance management
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; minimum 5 years nuclear power industry experience; knowledge of commercial nuclear power plant operations (BWR or PWR); previous refuel outage or dry cask storage experience; demonstrated written and verbal communication and project management skills; ability to meet and maintain unescorted nuclear plant access requirements; valid Real ID or approved alternate documentation; compliance with 10 CFR 810; U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or Protected Individual status under INA
Desired
Bachelor's Degree; previous Licensed Operator experience at a nuclear power plant; previous supervisory experience; understanding of collective bargaining contracts and union issues; proficiency with SAP and ESOM systems
Location
Hybrid with set onsite days each week; current PSEG employees only; subject to random drug/alcohol testing including marijuana screening for federally regulated roles
