Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (chemistry, construction, computer science, engineering, IT, mathematics, or physics) with 5 years of related experience, OR Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 5 years of related experience, OR Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 7 years of related experience, OR High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience. Must maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements as applicable. Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties.

About this role

LaSalle Nuclear Power Station seeks a Reactor Services Planner Scheduler to develop and execute work packages, procedures, and schedules for outage and non-outage activities at a nuclear facility. You'll enforce procedural compliance, mentor staff on Human Performance fundamentals, and coordinate tooling, materials, and resources to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare work packages and procedures for outage and non-outage work scope
  • Schedule and status activities for both outage and non-outage work scope
  • Identify required tooling, parts, materials, and consumables for work package development
  • Enforce procedure use and adherence, Human Performance (HP) fundamentals, and Technical Human Performance (THP) techniques
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to achieve continuous improvement
  • Support outage activities and other assignments as directed by management

Preferred qualifications

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training in reactor or turbine projects; Senior Reactor Operator License or Certification; Experience in planning and scheduling at a nuclear power plant.
