About this role
RCU Technician role supporting Westinghouse reactor component upgrades across multiple nuclear facilities. This 12+ month on-site contract position combines hands-on equipment repair, technical troubleshooting, and project engineering support at the Madison, PA facility.
Responsibilities
- —Participate in project preparation and execution at multiple nuclear facilities
- —Prepare and checkout tooling, develop training materials, and deliver training support
- —Provide engineering support and hands-on repairs of reactor component equipment
- —Analyze and troubleshoot complex equipment issues and develop solutions
- —Support project work schedules and assume increased responsibility as knowledge improves
- —Develop and present internal and external technical presentations
- —Complete assigned training in Westinghouse systems and procedures
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with formal technical training
- —Minimum 5 years of successful performance as a Technician/Specialist
- —Minimum 5 years of experience leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects
- —Qualified Radiological Worker with knowledge of contamination avoidance techniques
- —Broad technical knowledge of nuclear power plants
- —Ability to analyze problems and make complex decisions with minimal supervision
Desired
- —6–10 years of experience as Technician/Specialist in power plant engineering or heavy equipment maintenance
- —Active-duty military background
- —Formal training in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering
- —Experience with Primavera, MSP, SAP, Active Risk Manager, Acumen Fuse, PRISM, Power BI, or Tableau
- —Ability to transform raw data into visual reports and manage data within systems
- —Familiarity with utility business practices, operations, maintenance, engineering practices, and procurement processes

On-site at Madison, PA facility; 12+ month contract; project-dependent work schedules
