About this role

Join Westinghouse's Global Instrumentation & Control business as a Quality Engineer supporting nuclear energy production. You'll ensure compliance with quality management systems, customer contracts, and regulatory codes for complex electro-mechanical instrumentation systems used in commercial nuclear reactors, including PWR and BWR applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work with domestic and international customers and suppliers to resolve programmatic deficiencies
  • Develop and implement project surveillance programs to ensure compliance with technical specifications
  • Participate in self-assessments and internal audits of Global I&C departments to verify compliance with applicable QA codes and standards
  • Recommend product line and departmental quality policies, procedures, and instructions following customer requirements and applicable standards
  • Represent Westinghouse and provide input during external QA audits conducted by customers and NRC/government agencies
  • Verify accuracy of operational procedures, test result records, and review inspection procedures to ensure compliance with purchase orders and design specifications

Location, schedule, and travel

Hybrid role based in Warrendale, Pennsylvania; no relocation available
