Required qualifications
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing environments; professional proficiency in English and French; comfort with common IT tools and software.
About this role
Project Engineer supporting Westinghouse's international nuclear project at the Monfalcone, Italy facility. Ensure manufacturing compliance with RCC-M/RSE-M standards and regulatory requirements, liaise with French and Notified Body authorities, and serve as the local site representative reporting to the Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Monitor manufacturing and inspection procedures from development through external approval
- Ensure technical alignment, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to project deadlines
- Address non-conformances involving local and project-specific engineering departments, quality, and regulatory teams
- Serve as local representative for Notified Body and French Regulatory authorities
- Maintain compliance with RCC-M/RSE-M standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support for resolving manufacturing deviations
Preferred qualifications
Experience in the nuclear sector; knowledge of RCC-M Code, ESPN, and PED regulations.
Location, schedule, and travel
Onsite at Monfalcone (GO), Italy; occasional travel to France for business meetings.
